The Singapore Airshow Aviation Leadership Summit (ALS)
Key representatives from governments and civil aviation sectors and senior officials of transport ministries will meet to discuss current challenges and the changing landscape of the aviation industry at the ALS. Presiding as the conference Honorary Chairman will be Mr. Giovanni Bisignani, Director General and CEO of IATA.This summit is co-organised in collaboration with Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Ministry of Transport (MOT).

The inaugural summit held in conjunction with Singapore Airshow 2008 featured a dialogue by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, keynote speaker Robert Kobeh Gonzalez, President of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) as well as a panel of distinguished international speakers. Among the industry leaders participating in the conference were 21 airline CEOs as well as heads of IATA and ICAO.The Asia-Pacific Security Conference Series (APSEC)
APSEC brings top political and military leaders, defence industry experts and security analysts from around the world together to examine aviation security threats, challenges and airpower development.This will be the fifth conference in this series, and is co-organised by the Republic of Singapore Airforce, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, and Singapore Airshow & Events Pte Ltd.
