Mr Tan Pheng Hock was appointed Chairman of Singapore Airshow & Events Pte Ltd in October 2009. He is the President and CEO of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering), one of the largest companies listed on the Singapore Exchange by market capitalisation.
Mr. Tan serves as Director on the board of SembCorp Marine Ltd. He is also the Chairman of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, the Lifelong Learning Endowment Fund Advisory Council and also the Nanyang Polytechnic Board of Governors.
Mr Tan was the first Asian Chief Executive to be awarded the Walter L. Hurd Foundation World Executive Medal by Asia Pacific Quality Organisation in 2007. He also received the International Management Action Awards (IMAA) in 2005 and the Medal Commendation by National Trade Union Congress in 2004.
Jimmy was the Vice-President of the Aerospace Group of Reed Exhibitions between 1991 and 1993, and President from 1994 to 2002. He held concurrent post as the Managing Director of Asian Aerospace from 1994 to 2002.
Jimmy has 30 years of experience in the exhibition and convention industry and was the co-founder of Singapore's first low-cost airline, "Valuair".
With nearly 30 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, and project management of exhibitions and conferences, Angie is one of the first female pioneers in the MICE industry.
Angie was Group Vice-President with Reed Exhibitions for 19 years. During this time, she received the Presidential Award, the top award to recognise outstanding senior executives in Reed Publishing Group. Angie has extensive international exposure and substantial experience in all aspects of operations and general management including joint ventures and business development.
